In late 2010, Eyal Dunkel, who has been working the last few years with his dad at a car collision repair facility in Los Angeles, California, found that drivers have needs that are not being met when it comes to their cars. People were unsure where to go when they had any issues with their cars, whether mechanical or because of an accident, and instinctively think of going to the auto dealers, where prices are usually much higher than reputable auto mechanics or auto body shops. Eyal observed that people didn’t always remember what information to exchange when involved in a car accident. That was the catalyst for starting Fancy Auto, Inc., a development and publishing company of car-related technology for people’s hectic and mobile lifestyle.
